Service Description

A custom-made dress is a pure indulgence, often reserved only for very special occasions. It is a unique opportunity for you to have a dress deigned and created completely to your specifications. I first consult with the client to determine the design, color and fabric. I create a mock-up or "muslin" of the dress from the client's measurements. This "muslin" is then fitted on the client. After making any necessary changes to the pattern, the actual dress is made. Any further adjustments may require additional fittings. Upon completion, a separate Pick-Up date is scheduled. ***Because of the nature of my business, working with sharp cutting instruments, pins, needles, small objects and beads that could be hazardous to children, I highly recommend that you do not bring children to appointments unless they are having a fitting.
